Questions

Where do the CQC questions come from?

Each question is drawn from CQC's single assessment framework, its 5 key questions and their quality statements, and names the standard it comes from with a link to the regulator's own page. The facts were checked against cqc.org.uk on 15 October 2026.

Does the score predict my CQC rating?

No. The score shows where your evidence is strong and where it is thin, key question by key question, so you know what to work on first. CQC decides the rating after its own assessment.

Does CQC endorse this quiz or wai?

Care Quality Commission registers and rates providers. It does not approve, certify or endorse software, wai included, and software cannot earn a rating on a provider's behalf. wai keeps the records your team uses to show CQC how care is delivered, and CQC decides the rating.

What happens to my answers?

Your answers are scored in your browser and stay there. They are sent to us only if you ask for the full report by email, and then only to write and send it.
