waiCheckout, free booking and payment for any clinic.Try it free

Online booking and payments for any clinic.

wai Checkout builds your booking page from the website you already have, takes card and Apple Pay into your own Stripe account, and sends the confirmation. It goes on your site with one line of code and it is free to use.

We read the site, lay out what we find, and you approve it before anything is live.

wai Checkout is built by the team behind wai, the clinical system The Wellness runs on.See what wai runs

Why the booking does not happen

None of these are new. They are the reason a patient who had decided to come to you ends up somewhere else.

The phone is the only way in

Most clinic websites end at a number and an enquiry form. A patient who is ready at nine in the evening leaves a message and waits for the morning, and the ones who were only half decided do not wait.

The price is not on the page

When the fee is not published, the patient has to ask before they can decide. Every question is another day, and another chance for a clinic that published its prices to answer first.

Nothing is taken at the time

A booking with no payment behind it is a diary entry the patient can quietly forget. Taking the fee, or a deposit, at the moment they are certain is what turns it into an appointment.

What wai Checkout does about it

One page on your own site that shows what you offer, what it costs and when you are free, and takes the money.

Patients book at any hour

Your services, your clinicians and your free times are on the page. The soonest time is already chosen, so a patient who agrees with it books in three taps and nobody has to answer the phone.

Every price is on the page

We read the prices you already publish and lay them out beside each service. You edit anything before it goes live, and you change a price afterwards from one screen.

The money lands in your account

Card and Apple Pay are taken at the booking and paid into your own Stripe account, where you stay the merchant of record. Take the full fee or a deposit, per service.

What the patient sees

These are the three screens, running. Try them, nothing is charged.

What. Every service with its price and the next free time beside it.

When. The soonest time is already chosen. Anyone free, or a clinician by name.

Pay. A returning patient is recognized from their mobile number. One tap on Apple Pay.

What happens after they pay

Three things go out on their own. The patient gets their confirmation and, a moment later, the intake form. You get the booking with everything you need to open the door.

The patient's confirmation

Sent in your clinic's name the moment the payment clears. Where to come, what to bring, your cancellation terms, the receipt, one press to add it to a calendar and one to move it.

The intake form

Five questions by text message, answered in under a minute, and none of them required except consent. It is asked after the payment, so a long form can never cost you the appointment.

The email your desk gets

Who is coming, what they booked, what they paid, and the one line they typed about why. A different email from the patient's, because your desk needs a different thing from it.

You see the ones who started and stopped

Most of the people who begin a checkout anywhere online do not finish it, and on a normal booking page you never learn their name. Here you get the number they typed, the service they picked and where they stopped, while it is still today.

70.22%

is the average documented online checkout abandonment rate. Clinic booking is not retail and we do not claim this number as ours, but the shape is the same. Someone decides to come to you, gets most of the way, and something interrupts them.

wai Checkout posts a webhook the moment a booking is started, again when it is abandoned and again when it is paid, so your own system knows too. If you have no system, the unfinished ones arrive at the foot of your booking email and one call brings most of them back.

Every patient who books gets a wai profile

A wai profile is the patient's own record, free and theirs to keep. Their visits, results and letters sit in one place, and the clinic they booked with is already in it.

They are recognized next time

A patient who already has a profile is known by their mobile number, so the second booking is one tap and nothing is typed twice.

The record follows them

Visits, results and letters from your clinic sit in the patient's own profile, where they can find them without ringing your front desk to ask.

The repeat booking comes back to you

Book again sits inside their profile and it points at your page. The patient who came once starts from you rather than from a search.

Set up in five minutes

Paste your website, tick what is right, connect Stripe, copy one line. You can change all of it afterwards from one screen.

Paste your website

We read every service, price, clinician and location you already publish and lay them out for you to tick. Edit anything, add what we missed, and nothing goes live until you say so.

Connect your Stripe

Payments land in your own Stripe account and you stay the merchant of record. It is Stripe's own form and it takes about five minutes. If you do not have an account you make one there.

Put one line on your site

Copy it, or send it to whoever looks after your website. There is a hosted link for WhatsApp and a QR code for the front desk if you would rather not touch the site at all.

Built for how clinics run

Availability

Calendar sync where a calendar exists, weekly hours where it does not, and a request a time fallback you confirm with one tap. A patient picks the what and the when. You assign the who, unless they ask for someone by name.

Bookable by assistants

Your services are published in a form an assistant can read and book from, with the same payment and the same confirmation. When a patient asks one for a doctor on Thursday, you are on the list, and there is nothing to set up.

Compliance

You sign a business associate agreement with us before anything goes live, and we are built to HIPAA and SOC 2. We store the service booked, never the reason for the visit. Data stays in the United States, encrypted, with a full audit log. Card details never touch our servers and the widget meets WCAG 2.2 AA.

The confirmation

Where to come, what to bring, how to prepare, your cancellation terms, the receipt, one press to add it to a calendar and one to move it. It is sent from your clinic's name to the patient and to you, and a reply reaches a person.

See it running

wai Checkout, end to end

The film runs the whole thing once. A clinic pastes its website, connects Stripe and copies a line, then a patient books and pays and the confirmation arrives.

The widget on a clinic site

This is the page a patient lands on, sitting on a clinic's own website. It is the real thing in demo mode, so you can book a time and nothing is charged.

Open the demo

Changing anything, later

Every service, price, duration and clinician on one screen. Change a price and it is live on your site the same second, with no republish and nobody to email.

wai Admin

Everything after the booking is wai Admin.

Reminders, intake forms, a help desk that answers WhatsApp, email and phone in one patient record, invoicing, and live reporting on bookings, revenue and no shows. Checkout fills the diary. wai Admin runs the desk behind it.
