The plan goes home with the patient, and so does the clinic

Today the signed plan reaches the patient in plain words, and every prescription and follow-up is tracked until it is done. We are building the companion that answers questions about the plan and checks in on the days that matter with partner clinics now.

The problem

Half of what was said in the room is gone by the time the patient reaches the car

The patient

They nodded at the plan, and at home they cannot remember whether it was twice a day or twice a week.

The doctor

You wrote a careful plan and you will not know whether it was followed until the review, if the patient comes back for one.

The owner

Follow-ups that never get booked are outcomes you cannot show and revenue you never see.

How it works

How it will work, built with partner clinics now

  1. wai Clinicians, the visit documents going to the patient

The signed plan goes to the patient

Once the doctor signs, the plan reaches the patient in plain words, with the medicines, the dates and what to watch for.

  2. wai Profile, the signed visit summary telling the patient what to watch for

The patient can ask, and is asked

The patient asks questions about the plan at any hour and gets answers drawn from it. On the days the doctor chooses, the patient is asked how it is going, and anything worrying goes to the doctor.

  3. wai Profile, a repeat prescription tracked from signed to collected

    Every loop is closed

The prescription sent and collected, the referral accepted, the follow-up scheduled. The clinic sees what is still open, and nothing is left to memory.

See it on your own patients and your own doctors, in thirty minutes on video.

What changes

Patients follow the plan, and come back for the review

For patients

Never alone with the plan

Answers in plain words at any hour, and a doctor when the answer needs one.

For doctors

Knowing it was followed

Check-ins report back before the review, so the next visit starts with what happened.

For the clinic

Follow-ups that happen

Every open prescription, referral and review is visible until it is done.

53%

of medications recalled by patients after a visit, in a randomised trial where the after-visit summary did not improve recall.

Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, 2014. A published study, not a wai result.

Where it works

The same product in every market, on each market's rules

United Kingdom

Plans and check-ins sit within CQC's person-centred care and safe care regulations. Prescriptions go electronically through the clinic's prescribing service.

Part of the episode price, or a care programme the clinic sells.

United States

Patients expect an after-visit summary. Where device readings are used, remote patient monitoring codes, including the new 2026 codes, can apply.

Part of the visit, or billed as remote care where it qualifies.

United Arab Emirates

Plans in Arabic and English, with the record kept in the country.

Part of the episode or programme price.

Elsewhere

Prescribing and referral routes follow each market's rules, and the plan is written in the patient's language.

Part of the episode or programme price.

Records are hosted in each clinic's own country under its rules. Every credential we hold is listed with its status and date on our security page.

Questions

What clinics ask us first

Does the companion give medical advice?

It answers from the plan the doctor signed and nothing else. A question the plan does not answer goes to the doctor.

Who decides when check-ins happen?

The doctor, per plan. A dermatology plan might check in on day three and day fourteen, a menopause plan at six weeks.

What counts as a loop?

Anything the visit started that has to finish somewhere else. A prescription, a referral, a test, a follow-up appointment. Each stays open until it is done.

Is it available now?

Signed plans to the patient, prescriptions and referrals run today. We are building the companion and the check-ins with partner clinics now, and we would like to build them with you.

What do patients see?

Your clinic's name and your doctor's plan, in the app or on the web, in the patient's own language.
