Hong Kong clinic licensing software, built to help you achieve a clean inspection.

Questions

What is the best clinic software for Cap. 633?

The best Cap. 633 software is the system your clinic already runs on, so the evidence is a by-product of the work. Look for one record behind booking, notes, messaging in Chinese and English, payments and access, with signed, timed notes and a full audit trail. wai is built that way, to help you achieve a clean licensing inspection.

Is there Department of Health approved clinic software?

The Department of Health, through ORPHF, licenses and exempts private healthcare facilities. It does not approve, certify or endorse software, wai included, and software cannot earn a licence on a provider's behalf. wai keeps the records your team uses to show ORPHF how care is delivered, and ORPHF decides the licence.

Does my clinic need a licence?

Since 13 October 2025, yes, unless it qualifies as a small practice clinic. That means the operators are registered doctors or dentists, no more than 5 of them, and the only doctors or dentists serving the clinic apart from locums, with exclusive use of the premises. A small practice clinic holds a letter of exemption instead.

What if we missed the 13 April 2026 deadline?

The provisional licence window has closed, so apply for a full licence now. The Government has not yet announced when penalties start, and clinics that have applied may continue to operate until then.

How much is a clinic licence?

The application fee is HK$8,840 for up to 5 rooms, HK$9,860 for 6 to 10 rooms and HK$10,900 for more than 10, and is not refundable. A letter of exemption carries no fee.

Does wai work in Chinese?

Yes. wai drafts replies in the language the patient writes in, Cantonese, Putonghua, English or any other, for your team to approve, and answers intake questions by voice in any language.

Does wai work for clinic groups and hospitals?

Yes, every clinic runs on the same record, inbox and reports. Larger organisations usually start with one pathway, prove it on their own data, and widen it from there.

Where does wai keep our records?

In your clinic's own jurisdiction, under its rules, encrypted, with a full audit log. We set this up with you before go-live.

See wai on your own diary, notes and inbox.

Fifteen minutes on video, on your own diary, notes and inbox. Built to help you achieve a clean licensing inspection. wai hosts each clinic's records in its own country, under that country's rules. We set this up with you before go-live.
