How accurate are AI medical scribes?

No vendor publishes a comparable word error rate, and it would not tell you what you need. Accuracy is whether the note evidences the decision you made.

Check yourself

Why is word error rate the wrong measure?

A note can transcribe every word and still miss what was decided, and it is the decision the record has to evidence.

What is the right question to ask of a note?

Does it show what was considered and what was decided, in a way another clinician could act on.

On your own data

Before the next module
