Summary
A Warsaw clinic can use AI for notes and patient messages under GDPR, supervised in Poland by UODO. The P1 platform covers every medical entity in Poland whatever its funding, and wai is built to connect to it, with each note signed by a doctor on the Chamber's register.
Dinner on time for the doctor, and every enquiry from Mokotów or a hotel on Krakowskie Przedmieście answered before the morning list. Warsaw has 19,020 doctors entitled to practise, so private patients choose the clinic that replies first.1

The private care market in Warsaw
Statistics Poland's Warsaw yearbook counted 1,863,800 residents at the end of 2024, a third of the Mazowieckie region. The registers held 19,020 doctors and 4,613 dentists entitled to practise in the city, up from 18,593 and 4,493 a year earlier.1
Visitors add demand. Warsaw's tourist accommodation hosted 4,457,000 guests in 2024, and hotels alone recorded 1,434,875 foreign tourists for 2,376,809 nights.1 A private centre near the business districts sees residents and travellers in the same week.
The rules a clinic in Warsaw works under
Doctors belong to the medical self-government. The Supreme Medical Chamber (NIL) is the national body of that self-government, and the Regional Medical Chamber in Warsaw runs its own commissions for registration and the right to practise and for doctors' practices.67 The Ministry of Health leads health policy.5
The President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) supervises personal data, health data included.4
P1, run by the e-Health Centre, collects and shares digital records of medical events and indexes of electronic medical documentation. It covers every medical entity whatever the source of funding, and patients see e-prescriptions, e-referrals and their visit history on the Internet Patient Account.3
wai hosts each clinic's records in its own country, under that country's rules. We set this up with your clinic. wai is compliant with these rules and built for clinics in Warsaw. wai is built to connect to the P1 platform. We set up your clinic's connection with you.
The languages patients write in
Polish leads. The 2021 census found 1,848,653 of Warsaw's 1,860,281 residents using Polish at home, and 119,157 also or instead using another language. English came first at 80,043, followed among others by German at 7,182, French at 6,625, Ukrainian at 6,114 and Spanish at 4,667.2
wai works in any language. A patient can answer intake questions by voice in their own language, and the clinician reads them in English.9 Every reply is drafted for a person at the clinic to approve.
What a demo shows in Warsaw
An email arrives at 21:30 from an engineer in a Mokotów office tower asking for a cardiology check before an annual medical. wai reads the cardiologists' busy times from Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, offers two open early slots on Friday and drafts the reply in English, and the coordinator approves it at 7:45.
He books on the clinic's site in three taps, earliest time first, and pays a deposit in złoty into the clinic's own Stripe account. A confirmation, a receipt and an intake questionnaire follow. After the visit wai drafts the note and the results letter, and the cardiologist reviews and signs both. Every message, draft, approval and signature is logged and exportable.8
For health systems, insurers and public bodies in Warsaw
Hospital groups, insurers and public bodies in Warsaw can have wai build a system of their own on one patient record, beginning with one pathway, with data and model rights agreed in the contract. The approach is on the organisations page.
Where to start
First, confirm how your clinic reports visits and documentation to P1 today. Second, check each doctor's registration with the Regional Medical Chamber in Warsaw. Third, count last month's enquiries by language and by the hour they arrived.
Bring that count to a fifteen-minute demo. The enquiry to booking guide shows what to measure, and pricing is published on the pricing page.
Bring a week of Polish and English enquiries and watch each one drafted for your team to approve.
