wai reads each clinician's busy times from iCloud Calendar over CalDAV, so online booking only offers the times they are open. A clinician sets it up by adding an app-specific password from their Apple account in their wai settings, and wai keeps only the start and end of each event.

wai reads when they are busy over CalDAV, and online booking offers patients only the times around those events.
Event details are read past and discarded, so all wai keeps of a dentist appointment or a school run is when it starts and ends.
Bookings made in wai stay in wai, because wai does not write events into iCloud.
