Inspectors enter every part of the facility, ask for data, read the health records, check licences and may take samples, then write a report of observations and violations for the Ministry. Expect to show the licences, any patient file, the consent behind a procedure and the prices charged against the approved list.
What the committee may do
Under Article 64 of Law No. 70 of 2020, the Minister's inspection committees may enter the facility and all its parts, examine it, request data and information, read its health records, and examine and take samples for analysis. They write reports of observations and violations and records of offences, may call on the police, and act as judicial police. Their reports go to the Ministry for legal action.1
