What Jump is good at
Price honesty, and it is not close. Seven volume bands, the migration fee, the training day rate, the card percentage and the SMS fragment cost, all published on usejump.co.uk and read on 8 September 2026. Anyone can build an accurate three year cost model for Jump without speaking to a salesperson. In this market that is rare enough to be the headline.
One rate with everything in it. No tier where the recalls live, no upgrade to reach the letters. A practice that has been nickel and dimed by feature gating elsewhere will feel the difference on the first invoice.
And a serious clinical spine. SNOMED coded notes and dm+d prescribing safety are the parts buyers skip past and regulators do not.
Where the two models part
Jump is priced per user, so the cost of the software tracks the number of people you employ. That is the normal shape and it is fair. It also means the way to get more done in a Jump practice is to add another user at £100 a month plus the salary behind them.
wai is priced per clinician and per location, and the front desk is inside the price rather than beside it. The enquiry is answered, the appointment is booked, the note is composed from the encounter and the letter is drafted for approval. The comparison is not software against software. It is a seat licence against the work that seat was hired to do.
So the question to hold is which cost is actually growing in your practice. If it is licences, Jump is priced well. If it is people, a cheaper licence does not touch it.
Which one
Choose Jump if you want a full UK practice record at a published, predictable per user rate, and you have the reception capacity to run it. At 1 to 5 users that is £100 each a month with nothing held back, and it is a straightforward purchase to justify.
